In April 16th radiaton levels were many times lower than that, which means there has been a dramatic increase in radiation leaking from reactor 1.

Another problem area is the building housing the No. 1 reactor. TEPCO officials used a U.S.-made robot on April 16 to measure radiation levels and detected radiation of 270 millisieverts per hour in the No. 1 reactor building.

That level of radiation means a worker could spend less than an hour in the area before exceeding the allowable dosage.

This is of major, since this recent burst of radiation will directly affect the lives of people in the area, and most of the Northern Hemisphere as well (this could be where you are living).

If you are reading this, I strongly urge you to spread this information the best you can, as the mainstream media in the West is remaining somewhat silent on the problem, and we cannot rely on it any longer. This is many times bigger than the meltdown that occurred following the Japanese Tsunami.
